Bio

Hey there. I'm bluejaybirdie. I'm 17 and am a nerdy artistic gay jock who likes to party. Yeah, I defy all sterotypes. To elaborate, I play basketball, love to draw and paint, am interested in many nerdy things like comics and sci-fi, and love to hang around with/talk to people.

I often post about politics, gender issues, and other sensitive topics, so please be aware of that. I'm pretty highly opinionated and I'm not going to apologize for that here--it's the place I've got to voice my opinions, and I'm going to do that.

I love comics, and I read mainly DC. Some of my favorites are Birds of Prey, Batgirl, Rucka's run on Wonder Woman, the No Man's Land arc of Batman, and pre-OYL Robin. I'll read just about anything, but my favorites are generally ones with strong female protagonists :)

I'm very much an "people person", so if you ever stumble across this journal, feel free to strike up a conversation or friend me! I probably won't friend you back unless I know you fairly well, but it definatly doesn't mean I don't like you--it just means I'm a bit ~~paranoid~~ careful about internet privacy.
